The main goal of your project is to develop new ideas for ˜TAMA’ based on the templates method.

The ideas you generate can relate to different elements of the twine: the product itself, its technology, its design, the marketing etc. The ideas should be innovative and essential and the benefit from them should be well designed. Each idea should focus on one product element. Avoid offering ideas which are too complicated from a technological point of view and make sure you work with organized processes according to the methods.

The written essay must include:

The introduction of ideas for a new, creative product, generated based on the templates method. Please describe in detail the process leading to the ideas, as follows:

Part A- Attribute dependency 50%

  1. Generate a list of at least 8 internal and 8 external variables that characterize the product (you may refer to the entire product or to parts of it like product features or components). Define precisely the values of the variables and explain unclear variables.
  2. Create a new dependency between variables that have no link. Present the bestidea you came up with (only one).

  4. In your explanation mention what are the variables (internal/external), what is the kind of the dependency (between or within a product), illustrate a graph that describes the link between the variables and describe the new benefits.
  5. Describe the target audience and the degree to which the product/service is attractive from a marketing perspective.

 

Part B- Subtraction with and without Replacement or Displacement 50%

  1. Make a general list of the product’s internal and external components (at least 5 of each) and mention what function they fulfill.
  2. Generate a product configuration chart.
  3. Generate the subtraction with and without replacement template and present two new ideas accordingly.
  4. What are the benefits as a result of the replacement/displacement?
  5. Describe the target audience and the degree to which the product/service is attractive from a marketing perspective.
