Personal PITT Exercise

  1. Discuss the customer satisfaction of the organization with three influential factors: human resource management, company operations (processes), and customer expectation (refer to exercise 2)

 

In order to accomplish this part, you need to:

 

  • Use the (professional-related performance you would like to improve (as you developed in exercise 2 (identified weakness and objectives))
  • Identify your customer(s) who is the beneficiary or the recipient of your performance output)
  • Identify HRM (people/policies/supports that are involved in the process of your performance)
  • Determine the operation process (how you’ll improve the performance
  • Discuss how the three-part system interacts with your professional development

You many refer to chapter 5 and or PITT exercise 3) to help you work on this

“If you look carefully on the instruction, this exercise is for you to “select one (professional-related) performance you would like to improve” and develop and discuss your strategic planning process. Your choice for this PITT assignment is yourself, right? You need to follow the diagram on page 63 to develop the strategic planning process with a focus on quality performance improvement.  As I said in the class, each box of the process needs to be filled out with information using key words/phrases. For example, in your case, you may have “Culture: (your culture)” in the diagram. You will then discuss the process in more detail on how one connects to another. Specifically, you will need to provide a clear connection between the weakness and objectives, as well as the action plans, so this entire strategic planning process would make a sense. You also need to show a connection between the policies and the action plans in the diagram. Presenting some policies that can be used to support the action plans. Also, the last box does not make sense to me. I do not think that’s the place to put organization’s name but the organization of the plan.

 

Think these over and make necessary adjustments to make these parts more clear. Please watch the Tegrity video and read the PPT instruction for more detail information’’
