In other words, you will be discussing two related texts, in which you consider persuasive (rhetorical) techniques (appeals) and/or literary elements and/or other bases of comparison/contrast.
Compose a thesis that identifies the basis (or bases) for comparing/contrasting the two works and establishes the rhetorical strategies and/or other techniques used by the authors. Plan an effective organizational scheme for presenting your analysis (outline). Develop your analysis by supplying ample textual evidence (specific references from the texts) to support the major points of your argument.
