The charge of pedophilia may or may not be true, depending on how it is defined. Technically, Muhammad did have a sexual relationship with a child, but Aisha …

He used Quranic scripture to justify horrific behavior: pedophilia, incest, rape, torture, assassinations, thievery, mass murder, and terror all in an unbridled orgy of …
I got the ideas from the following book: F. W. Burleigh, It’s All About Muhammad A biography of the world’s most notorious Prophet, Zenga Books, Portland, Oregon: 2014
I would like an exact summary of the ar3eas concerning epileptic, pedophilia and psychopath concerning Muhammad.
This is a controversial position to take, as I’m sure you’re aware.
Controversial Position
I know that the mainstream public, particularly the apologists for Islam consider the positions controversial. I do not believe they are controversial. They are straightforward fact. All one has to do is read the Koran. I have read English translations of the Koran. They are tedious and boring. The conclusions are obvious.
While I have no problem taking the stance that Muhammad was all those things (particularly an epileptic and a psychopath) I would like to know more about how and why you staked out this position.
Staking out the Position.
I staked out this position because I have been unable to locate exact information concerning these matters regarding Muhammad.
Epilepsy “The notion…that he was subject to epilepsy finds curious confirmation in the notices recorded of his experiences during the process of revelation—the importance of which is not lessened by the probability that the symptoms were often artificially produced. The process was attended by a fit of unconsciousness, accompanied (or preceded) at times by the sound of bells in the ears [Tinnitus] or the belief that someone was present: by a sense of fright, such as to make the patient burst into perspiration; by the turning of the head to one side; by foaming at the mouth; by the reddening or whitening of the face; by a sense of headache.” (D. S. Margioulith, quoted in Warraq, Ibn. Why I Am Not a Muslim. Prometheus Books, Amherst, New York, 1995, p. 89.)
Pedophilia: Stories with pedophiliac imagery are scattered throughout the Arabian Nights anthology such as The Tale of Nur Al Din Ali and His Son Badr Al Din Hasan. Child marriages are still common with It is a fact that Muhammad married Aisha and consummated the marriage when she was only nine, and he was fifty-three. This action allows Muslim societies to continue with this iniquitous custom. Muslims will not criticize a habit established by Muhammad. See Warraq, Ibn. Why I Am Not a Muslim. Prometheus Books, Amherst, New York, 1995.pp. 320, 349

During the week, as always, please monitor the news and the class Twitter feed. Please look for and discuss with your classmate’s news reports you notice that discuss special populations and disasters.
Based on the resources for this week and your own research incorporate some of the areas that were experienced by those who were interviewed and impacted by the cyclone. Please consider the following questions:
-What were some of the public health issues that were being experienced on the island and by the people living on the island?
-How did the women, children, and the elderly deal with the impact of debris from the cyclone?
-Further discuss what were some of the warning signs that were ignored regarding the approaching cyclone.
-How could the warning signs that occurred been mitigated by the local community?
-What types of preparatory efforts could have been made regarding the approaching cyclone?
-If you were a mental health worker that was dispatched to this location, what would be some of the main areas that would need to be considered concerning mental issues that may arise? Challenge your classmates’ thoughts and ideas concerning their plans for response to the mental health challenges that may occur.
It is obvious this type of disaster had a psychological impact upon this population. If you were an international disaster response specialist concerning mental health, what would be some of the special challenges that you would face, and how would you address those issues (list at least 3 examples).
