Task Description: You are required to keep a learning journal during the Chile tour. In the journal you are required to:
1. Critically reflect on the literature you are set to read prior to departure.
2. Critically reflect on the economic, business, and management context, strategies, and practices in the tour destination.
3. Demonstrate in your journaling and interactions on tour your growing cultural awareness and cross cultural skills.
4. Demonstrate in your journaling and interactions on tour a sensitivity to the moral dimensions of doing business in the study tour destination and in your journaling and tour group discussions how it might be possible to appropriately voice ones professional moral values.
5. Based on your reading of the literature and in-region/country research you are required to critically reflect on the impact of the strategic level industrial, economic , political and cultural contexts on conducting business in the study tour destination.
6. Critically reflect on the validity and efficacy of the literature you read prior to, during, and after the tour. In particular, based on your research in-region/country you are required to critically reflect on how valid and useful the literature is on the impact of the history, culture, politics, and moral values in the study tour destination on the practice of managing in the region or country.
