Paper 3 Prompt and Rubric
In 2-3 pages, analyze whether or not the conclusions Hardin asserts via the lifeboat scenario are for the greater good of humanity. Do not simply agree or disagree with Hardin. Consider his position on population control, environmental sustainability, immigration, justice, etc., and analyze what his claims mean for the people living now and for future generations. Ultimately this paper is an opportunity for you to express your point of view about serious social matters, but remember to write objectively. There is no reason to use the ˜I’ pronoun.
