As you read Checklist
- Prescribed Title has been unpacked and it is clear how they plan to use the terms and answer the title.
- Knowledge questions are clearly presented throughout the essay but not in the introduction.
- They are general
- About knowledge
- Open-ended
- Title is explored effectivity (taking the title for a ride….)
- At least 2 A.O.K.’s discussed in the essay.
- At least 2 W.O.K.’s discussed in the essay, but housed within an A.O.K. (no naked W.O.K.’s)
- At least one Knowledge Feature- Something from TOK that is not a WOK or AOK.
- At least one personal Example
- At least a few Researched/ Real world examples (Remember, examples make or break an essay.)
- Examples are Cleary explained and detailed, and their link to the title is clear.
- Citations where necessary
- Counterclaims can be found
- Clear Conclusion
- Contains final opinions
- References/answers Prescribed Title
- References/ answers Knowledge Question
- Contains final analysis, not just restatement of essay content
- Word count is between 1,200 and 1,600
After you have read Checklist
- Essay made sense
