Hello, I am meant to write a research essay on Heidegger and Levinas. We’re supposed to find an argument ourselves and develop it, however, I have no concrete idea of what can be done (A comparison of their views, how Levinas is a critic to Heidegger or anything). Before you begin writing would it be possible to discuss together (with the writer) the potential subject? Almost anything goes as long as it remains relevant to Levinas and Heidegger’s writing about Being and Dasein. Also, the Stanford encyclopedia of philosophy website is a great place for sources.
