Policy Practice is a follow on course from Australian Social Policy. This course enables you, the student, to develop an understanding of policy cycles, policy planning, policy analysis, policy implementation and evaluation. There will be a major emphasis on policy analysis and the under-lying agendas of particular policies. We will be looking at some of the major policies of the Australian government as well as global social policies. As a continuance of Australian Social Policy, we will also be looking at resource allocation, equity, and diversity from the Australian context. We will also look at the relationship between government and the third sector, the non-government organisations._x000D_
