Occupational and job research Academic Essay – Write My School Essay

My chosen career choice is to became a teacher with a strong focus on Art. The grade level is PreSchool
5th
Grade. I
had to take some career assessments, and the results showed that I have strong leadership skills, Arts management skill,
and teaching skills. The first paper I wrote received an A,
the second one didn’t meet the requirements. I will send you a
copy of the paper I did, and the instructions. This is a part of the critic my professor sent me:

This is the first paper I wrote. I received an A:
As a child, I was super creative, I used to talk too much, over analyze issues, research everything, I was brutally honest,
and give adults advice. In primary to high school, I would debate anything my teachers would tell me, and a lot of times I
was right. However, my childhood characteristics always got me in trouble. Some teachers hated me, and some adored
me. I had aspirations to become a criminal lawyer. I used to watch the newer episodes of Perry Mason with my mother, and
I also watched L.A. Law. For me, both show showed the attractive side of law, and made it seem easy.
My aunt knew that I had a passion for law, and took me on a trip to an actual criminal court house on 100 Centre Street in
NYC. She thought that I would benefit from sitting in a live audience by watching lawyers, and criminals up close and
personal. To my surprise, I was unmoved. I was bored, and not at all interested in anything that was going on. The lawyers
looked poor, and wore cheap suits. The courtroom was cold, and old and it was then I realized that reality is a whole lot
different than television.
In the early 80’s, my older sister went off to college. She majored in accounting. I love my sister, and everything she did I
wanted to do. When I initially got into high school, I applied for the nursing program. At first it was ok, but my heart wasn’t in
it. When I had the opportunity to change my major, I changed it to accounting and I excelled. I thought that I found my
career, and there was no turning back for me. When it was time to apply for college, I went in majoring in accounting. That
was short lived. The books were expensive, and they were huge. The accounting students looked stressed out, and I told
myself I refused to live in stress, and I am going find something else to do with my life.
My second semester of college, I sat down with a student adviser and explored other possibilities. We went through all of
the majors, and none seemed captivating enough. We scrolled pass Graphic Art and Design, and went over the
curriculum, and thought it was rather interesting. I gave it a shot, and loved it. This was during the time when Macintosh
computers were at the forefront of technology. Graphic art wasn’t as popular as it is today. In fact, when I tell graphic artist
the programs that I used back in the day they laugh. I shined in the art program, and I was really into it. I even found a job
as a Marketing Coordinator at a booming startup
BusinesstoBusiness
Internet consulting company that specialized in
designing websites for companies before the Internet became popular. I was in my 20’s making a salary of 50k plus
quarterly bonuses.
When 911 struck, my company started to dismantle. Actually, most of the startup
Internet companies became defunct, and
it was a tough time for me. I wasn’t able to find anything in my field of study, and resorted to taking any job. I ended up
doing receptionist work as a temp. It was okay. The pay was okay, but awfully boring. I thought this couldn’t be it for me.
There is no way I was going to answer telephones all of my life. The next step after being a receptionist is becoming an
administrative assistant, so that became my goal. I found a job at a fortune 500 company as an admin, and that was boring.
As an admin, I was pulled is so many directions, and had to answer to a multitude of people. I started to hate that. After
being an admin, I made it my goal to becoming an executive assistant. Not only was the pay better, I only have to support
one senior person. I worked hard on my software skills, and became an Executive Assistant. That leads me where I am at
today.
I am not happy with my current circumstance because it is tedious. I feel as though I help executives manage their lives,
while mines is falling apart. It is hard for me to get any personal time in for myself, and keeps me away from my children. I
work so much, and I am tired. Commuting to and from work is dreadful, and when I get home I am wiped out.
I have a lot of friends in education, and my husband as well is an educator. They are always off, and have a tremendous
amount of time to spend with family. They don’t have to answer emails, and when their day is over, they don’t have to think
about being ambush with an onslaught of work the next day.
I am at the point of my life where I am in control. I enrolled back in school, got back in to the arts, and I want to teach kids.
However, I want to finish what I started and I am pursing my degree in Visual Art. My plan is to broaden my knowledge of
the arts because that makes me a stronger teacher. Once I obtain my degree, I will become a substitute teacher. I will then
take some education courses, and get all of my certifications. I’ve already been in contact with the Department of
Education, and the transition is quite easy.
I’ve been taking some assessments for career planning, and amazingly my analyses are almost all parallel. I am rated
ESTI (the Executive), ESA (the Art Manager), ENTJ (the natural born leader), and ESTP (the Artisan).
According to one of the assessments, I am have the traits of an executive “ESTJs are representatives of tradition and order,
utilizing their understanding of what is right, wrong and socially acceptable to bring families and communities together.
Embracing the values of honesty, dedication and dignity, people with the ESTJ personality type are valued for their clear
advice and guidance, and they happily lead the way on difficult paths. Taking pride in bringing people together, ESTJs
often take on roles as community organizers, working hard to bring everyone together in celebration of cherished local
events, or in defense of the traditional values that hold families and communities together.’ This is so on target with who I
am as a leader. I am always placed in a position to lead. Some dislike me because of it, and some love for my assertive
nonthreatening
personality. I am extremely wise in the ways of the world, and always the go to person when it comes to
advising. My neighbors love me, and I am known for bringing people together to celebrate. Please don’t take this as
bragging; I am shocked by the accuracy of the rating. I am always praised for my ability to organize, and I take great pride
in what I do.
In addition to my “executive” rating, I am also deemed as an ESTP Artisan “Artisans are the temperament with a natural
ability to excel in any of the arts, not only the fine arts such as painting and sculpting, or the performing arts such as music,
theater, and dance, but also the athletic, military, political, mechanical, and industrial arts, as well as the “art of the deal” in
business.” This is assessment is also accurate, and further let me know that I am in the correct field of study. I am a creative
being, and do rather well in creative settings. I love to perform. People seem to gravitate towards my aura, charm, and
style. I am rather fascinating, and thrive on action.
As I took assessment after assessment, I started to notice a pattern. In another study, I have an ENTJ personality “hose of
the ENTJ personality type are born leaders. They are direct, assertive, and uninhibited. They can become frustrated and
impatient when things don’t unfold according to their expected plan or time frame, evoking notions of the “TypeA”
personality. In the presence of ENTJs, others may feel they are somehow being hurried or rushed, that the ENTJ wants
them to “cut to the chase.” Again, this describes who I am in conjunction with the other assessments. I absolutely fumble
when people who are indecisive. Indecision is a sign of weakness, and I prefer to stay away from vulnerable people. I
know what I want, and how to make it happen. If it isn’t available to me, I will figure out a way to achieve it.
In another assessment, I was summarized as an ESA, Artist Manager. In any creative field, you have to have management
skills. I have strong skill in contract negotiation, interviewing, communication, organizing, marketing, finding venues and a
bunch of related skill that align with being a great manager. As a matter of fact, I took an Arts Management course at
Empire, and received an A.
After reviewing all of my feedback, I am really pleased by the results. I am fully aware of who I am as a person, and strong
in my convictions. In order to become an effective teacher, I have to be an effective leader. I cannot doubt myself, and my
judgments because I have to be taken seriously. If I don’t believe in what I am teaching, a child would be confused when
trying to understand the lesson. I have dibbled and dabble in just about every industry, and have a wealth of knowledge
that I can bring to the table. I am assertive, but not conceited. I am aggressive, yet pleasant. I am forth coming without being
condescending. The pattern in the assessments indicate that I am an innovator, humanitarian, cultured and for a better
community. In order for me to succeed, I have to be consistent, persistent, insistent, never take no for an answer, and never
viewing myself as a failure. I value my evaluations because they assure me that I am on the right track. The scores are
indicative of what I already know, and have been told by others. I can say with confidence that my attributes are
comparable with my scores.
I know this is a lot of information, but I would rather give you more than less. I wrote a second paper and she said. It doesn’t
meet the requirement. I will send it to you just in case you needed it. I don’t know if it will do you any good, but it can’t hurt to

find the cost of your paper
