4) Employ one or more research methods to collect and analyze data—you should start the data collection early as this can be a time-consuming task,

5) Present a fair amount of primary data (and supplement with secondary data where necessary),

6) Analyze and rigorously discuss the data,

7) Point to specific findings, and

8) Demonstrate critical thinking throughout the paper.
