Factors that Contribute to the Retention of Veteran Teachers in Texas Public Schools

Paper details:

I am in need of a scholarly literature review with a minimum of 35 pages including the works cited pages. There should be absolutely no opinions stated in the review. All sources must be peer-reviewed and be as recent as possible, preferably within five years unless citing seminal research. All citations follow APA. The title of my dissertation is Factors that Contribute to the Retention of Veteran Teachers in Texas Public Schools.   I am researching Herzberg’s Two Factor (Hygiene-Motivation) Theory and how that theory is applied to teacher retention in public schools in Texas.  The following questions will guide the research:

1. What effect does administrative support and compensation have in a veteran teacher’s decision to remain on the same campus? (hygiene)
2. How do the physical working conditions affect a veteran teacher’s decision to remain on campus? (hygiene)
3. What role does the possibility of advancement help veteran teachers decide to remain in the profession? (motivation)
4. What role does school culture play in a veteran teacher’s decision to remain on the same campus? (motivation)
