Your assignment is to write a response to this drama from the perspective of the four authors: Simmel, Veblen, Fox, and Bourdieu. Your response should be no longer than one page (single spaced, formatted for readability). I will evaluate it based on a scale of 10 (max 5 for the quality of the interpretation + max 5 for the quality of the composition). This assignment can help you greatly in doing well on the Synthesis paper. In fact, you can use it as a source of examples.

Please explain how each author would interpret the scenes that we’ve seen from the theoretical positions that they develop in their writings. What central concepts and arguments in these positions do we understand better by watching Downton Abbey? How? Provide specific examples.
