Paper, Order, or Assignment Requirements
Students are expected to write a short (500 – 700 words) critical documentrary film review to be chosen from documentary films showed in class. The Critical Documentary Review should indicate the following: (a) A reflection of the global problem the documentary focusses on. (b) An elaborate description of the film’s perspective. In other words, what angle does the documentary/story take? (c) Consideration of other possible angles the documentary story could have explored further (d) An exploration of your position and location in this story, reflecting on whether the story was ethnocentric or culturally relative.
