Now that you have been working with Pegasus Company for several months as their HR consultant dealing with issues such as discipline, safety and leave polices, you realize that their electronic files and record keeping system for HR is not very sophisticated. They currently use a Microsoft Access database and excel spreadsheet to keep employee records and run reports electronically. However, since the company is positioned for growth, it is necessary to move their electronic records to a HRIS for enhanced accuracy, data security and reporting.
Conduct research on HRIS products and narrow your recommendations to the tops three systems you feel would meet the current and future needs of Pegasus Company. Provide a thorough overview of each of the systems including capabilities, costs and an implementation timeline and strategy. Rank your choices and give the rationale used for your selections and rank.
