( Paper on Instructional Design & Learning Theories (Individual))
“ compare three specific instructional design (not research) models, explain how learning theories have impacted these instructional design models, and discuss why ID is important today. To accomplish this, each student will individually research, reflect, and write a paper addressing the following:
1- Compare and contrast three prominent instructional design models (e.g. Dick, Carey, & Carey model; Morrison, Ross, & Kemp model; Rapid Prototyping model) based on their key features “ such as instructional design processes and emphasis.
2- Discuss how the following theories have impacted on the instructional design models you chose above.
-Systems theory
-Communication theory
-Learning theories (behaviorism, cognitivism, and constructivism)
