Introduction

There is a program on T.V entitled A Thousand Ways to Die. This program presents many scenarios that indicate how people die and how death cannot be prevented. However, there are some causes of death which can be prevented. Traditionally, there were so many diseases which people succumbed to because there was no cure or sometimes the diagnosis of the condition was a complicated process. Additionally, people had not much knowledge on health matters and their beliefs sometimes led to people going untreated. Children were however more in danger of loosing their lives (Domínguez, Borràs, Torner, & Soldevila, 2010). Nobody loves to see their children sick even with the slightest common cold and anyone would do anything to protect their child. Unfortunately, traditionally, there was nothing that anyone could do and many times people watched their children die of sickness. Today, however, children are protected from many conditions and some conditions such as polio have been on the verge of total eradication globally
