In this coursework, you are to manage two wireless communication channels. The first channel can be considered to be an AWGN (white) noise channel. The second channel can be considered to be a Rayleigh flat fading channel. You are to assume the use of specific equipment, which only has the capability of performing the digital modulations BPSK, QPSK, 8-PSK and 16-PSK.

Following this scenario, evaluate and examine upon the following issues:
Task 1. Briefly describe the provided modulation techniques and be means of Matlab modeling, plot the modulated and demodulated signals, the constellations at transmitter/receiver and the Power Spectral Density of the modulated signals.
Task 2. Specify the criteria you will use in order to compare the aforementioned band-pass modulation techniques in the AWGN channel. Compare performance in the AWGN channel (using Matlab code) and analyze your results.
Task 3. Evaluate the contributions of channel characteristics for effective wireless communication, and compare the performance of BPSK modulation in the two channels (AWGN and Rayleigh channel) using Matlab.
