What is necessary for a “good” death?
Paper details:
Americans fear death less than they fear the process of dying. Drawing on the four DVD’s narrated by Bill Moyers (found under the Essay #3 video button) write an essay on what is necessary for a “good” death. While we rarely think of death as “good,” the point made in the DVD’s is that efforts are being made to make dying less difficult.
1. What factors are necessary to ensure patient comfort?
2. What do we often do out of love and concern which actually makes dying more difficult?
3. How can we give patients the best care?
4. How can we ensure that decision-making resides with the patient?
5. What actions have been taken on the national scene to address this issue?
Paper Format :
1. 3 Pages, Double Spaced
2. APA
3. Please include an Abstract, Introduction and body titles with a conclusion at the end of the essay.
