Comparison and Contrast Writing Assignment (Essay #2)
In the readings in this course, the authors examine various concepts of freedom, equality, and justice in civic life. Select two works from the syllabus that we have discussed. Compare and contrast how those works explore and/or treat the principles of freedom, equality, and justice. In addition, briefly explain how the works impacted your own perceptions of these ideals.
Be specific in your analysis; rely on details from the texts. Cite at least three (3) passages from the texts to support your statements.
Adhere to standard essay structure (i.e., thesis statement in introductory paragraph, supporting paragraphs, each with a topic sentence, and a concluding paragraph).
