Your first essay is a benchmark writing assignment; this means that you are showing me your writing capabilities, strengths and flaws and all.
It should be a six-paragraph essay (minimum of one page, five sentences in each paragraph; thesis statement as the last sentence of the first paragraph). Write about an event that revealed your character, to you and others. I am a 35 year old lady. Whatever you choose to reveal my character as long as it is not negative.
