Read the four passages about bullying in schools, and then read the section on p. 8 œThinking and Reading Critically: Developing Rhetorical Sensitivity.

Then, respond to Activity 2, which asks you to identify the excerpts that are written for a general audience and for an academic audience.

Write a paragraph or two explaining the features that led you to identify the different audiences.
