RITTEN ASSIGNMENT FOR UNIT II
The last decade has brought about many changes in each of the media under discussion in this unit: Newspapers, Magazines, Books and Recorded Sound.
Write an essay describing what you believe is the most likely outcome for the newspaper of the future. That is, will it disappear? Will it go from paper to digital? Will you be able to subscribe to it? Buy it off the rack? Or, will there be an app for that “ and will that change what the newspaper can do? What do you think?
The Technical Information: Double space your paper and keep it to one typed page. Feel free to read your text and one or more articles on the subject to give yourself some added background. If you cite a book or article, be sure you include a proper citation in your footnotes. Your uninformed personal opinion, while charming, will not make this a useful exercise for either of us. The due date is Friday, Feb. 21.
