What should you look at? Potential genetic disease are always good to look at, for example does your family have a lot of breast cancer? You can also look for simple heritable traits, remember the ear wax example?

Ask a friend or relative if you can do their pedigree, a lot of people pay for the service!
If someone is missing on your pedigree, represent them with a question mark and note if they had to have been affected or a carrier or if it is unknown.
