The main function of a poster, advertisement, or pamphlet is to capture an audience with a message. Whatever method you chose, it should attract and hold your reader’s attention. Think about the message that you are trying to convey and plan your design around that.
What imagery will best convey your message visually? Should you use one large image, or several small interesting images? What type of emotion or mood are your picture(s) invoking? Include all important information such as telephone numbers or websites. Have the most important information emphasized by size, color, or value.
